Plates are prepared by hand on the day, so each size sets its own notice — a day for the smallest, ten for the largest. Please cancel or move your slot with the same notice; the chemistry is mixed for you alone.

The delicate nature of the process means several exposures are made to find the right one. Drying and varnishing then takes anywhere from thirty minutes to half a day, which is what sets when the plate can reach you.
